Katana wip, finally imported in #UE4.26. For the sword and its saya (scabbard of the sword), I use just one material with 4 textures. Different material instances allow to change the colors of the ito (piece of cloth on the handle), the sageo (hanging cord on the saya), the saya and the ray skin (wrapping placed under the ito). I've modeled 3 different tsuba (handguard) and 1 kashira (handle cap). The sageo was the most challenging part of this project, patiently simulated in Marvelous after looking to a lot of photos and instructions on how to tie it on the saya in real life.
